More Details

Explore how artificial intelligence (AI) tools can be integrated into academic advising practices to streamline routine tasks, enhance student communication, and support data-informed decision-making. Participants will gain hands-on experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and others that can help reduce administrative burdens, draft communications, analyze data, and develop advising materials. The training will also address best practices, ethical considerations, and practical strategies for using AI in a FERPA-compliant, student-centered advising environment.
