The School of Concrete and Construction Management has several student organizations to get involved, gain experience, and network with industry. Click below for more information and keep an eye on your email or on flyers in the VET and MGB hallways for details on upcoming events and meetings.
American Concrete Institute
The American Concrete Institute (ACI) Student Chapter furthers the knowledge and professionalism of its members though hosting guest speakers, visits to plants or job sites, management and completion of concrete pours for the community as fundraisers, and trips to national industry functions.
The ACI Student Chapter also takes part in different educational competitions such as the ACI Cube Competitions and the ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition. Student membership in the organization is FREE! Electronic membership includes a subscription to Concrete International magazine and online versions of both the ACI Structural Journal and the ACI Materials Journal.

Associated General Contractors
The Associated General Contractors (AGC) Student Chapter was chartered in Fall 2008 and provides young professionals with an opportunity to learn, observe and develop their skills. AGC's student chapter enjoy a range of member benefits, networking opportunities and recognition programs.

National Association of Home Builders
National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) The NAHB Student Chapter program is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of students by offering them first-hand exposure to the real world of the building industry through NAHB membership, educational programming, and networking opportunities.
Working with a faculty adviser and drawing on the mentors and industry leaders in their local home builders association, student chapters can compete in national competitions, win scholarships, enjoy discounts on trade shows, and enjoy all the benefits of membership in NAHB.
