Biography

Dr. Therrien teaches courses in American literature, women writers of the 19th and 20th centuries, short story, and popular genre fiction.  She's also a faculty advisor and serves as Director of Advising within the English Department.  Her research generally focuses on gender and class in American popular fiction, and she's begun incorporating her interest in agroecology into her research as well.
