This interactive and energizing session will celebrate the heart work of academic advising by spotlighting the power of human connection and collaboration in promoting student success. Advisors will explore strategies for building lasting, authentic relationships with students, while also identifying ways to enhance collaboration with campus partners to provide a more holistic support network. 

• Participants will engage in reflection, storytelling, and peer learning to surface impactful moments where connection transformed a student's journey. 
• The workshop will highlight current research on belonging, persistence, and the advisor's role in student identity development. 
• It will remind us why who we are as advisors matters just as much as what we do.
