Join fellow academic advisors for an engaging and flavorful afternoon exploring the fascinating science behind fermented foods you’d find on a charcuterie board! Hosted by Keely O'Brien and Lindsay Rogerson from the Department of Fermentation Science, this interactive session will take you behind the scenes of the fermentation process—from salami to sauerkraut—and highlight the microbial magic that transforms simple ingredients into gourmet delights.
Not only will you gain a deeper appreciation for the science of fermentation, but you’ll also enjoy connecting with colleagues in a unique and relaxed setting. Plus, you'll leave with your very own commemorative charcuterie board, fully stocked with fermented goodies to enjoy later!
